PriceZag integrations for any online store
Connect Shopify or WooCommerce directly, integrate other platforms through the PriceZag JSON API, or use PriceZag without connecting your store.
Connecting your ecommerce store to PriceZag is completely optional. Many businesses use PriceZag without a store integration. You can add products manually or import them from spreadsheets, monitor competitors on virtually any ecommerce platform, view historical prices and stock, receive alerts, and export reports or calculated repricing amounts. You do not need to install anything on your store to get started.
If you do want your own catalog and selling prices to move between systems automatically, PriceZag provides direct connections for Shopify and WooCommerce. Using another ecommerce platform does not exclude you. The PriceZag JSON API makes custom integrations possible for other storefronts, in-house ecommerce software and business systems.
What connecting your store can automate
A store connection is mainly about information between your own store and PriceZag. It is not how PriceZag obtains competitor prices. Competitors are checked separately by visiting their actual product pages.
- Bring in your product catalog: import the products you want to monitor, with their identifiers, categories and other relevant product details, instead of maintaining a separate spreadsheet for every import.
- Keep your current selling prices accurate: when a price changes in your store, synchronize that value with the My Price field in PriceZag. Comparisons and repricing calculations then use the price you actually charge.
- Send new prices back: configure automatic repricing rules that consider competitors' prices and stock, along with your own conditions and limits. When you choose to enable automated updates, the calculated price can be sent to the appropriate product or variant in your store.
These are separate decisions. You might import products but never enable automatic repricing, or use monitoring and reports for months before setting up any kind of store connection.
Shopify integration
Connect a Shopify store from Automation > Connect My Store in your PriceZag account. Choose which products to import and how their identifiers and categories are mapped. The connection can maintain your My Price values when Shopify prices change and, if you enable automatic repricing, send calculated prices to the matching Shopify product variants. You can monitor competitors and use every other PriceZag feature without enabling price writeback.

WooCommerce integration
For stores built with WordPress and WooCommerce, PriceZag can work with your existing product catalog, including variable products and their variations. Import selected items, associate them with the right store identifiers, keep selling prices synchronized and optionally apply repricing updates to WooCommerce. The direct connection avoids having to build your own scripts for these common tasks, while leaving you in control of which products are imported and repriced.

JSON API for other ecommerce platforms
Not using Shopify or WooCommerce? You can still integrate your store. The PriceZag JSON API provides programmatic access to products, monitoring information and many of the actions available in your account. A custom script or application can exchange data between PriceZag and your store's own API, database or export/import mechanism. This approach can work with other commercial ecommerce platforms, custom-built storefronts and internal inventory or pricing systems.
You do not necessarily have to write the integration yourself. An AI coding assistant can help create a script for your particular platform using the PriceZag API documentation and the technical documentation for your store. For example, a script could bring your product catalog into PriceZag, retrieve calculated repricing amounts and submit approved prices to your store. The resulting code should be tested with your actual data and permissions before you enable automatic price changes.
The API is not limited to store integrations. It can also feed your own reports, dashboards or other business software with PriceZag data. Which steps are automated depends on the script you choose to run and the interfaces your other system makes available.

Prefer spreadsheets? That's fine too.
Spreadsheets are a complete alternative for getting started and for many ongoing workflows. You can import products and competitor URLs from a file, manage what you track in your PriceZag account, and download or schedule Excel and CSV reports. If you use repricing rules without connecting your store, PriceZag can still calculate suggested selling prices and include those amounts in a spreadsheet that you review or import into your own system.
In other words, store integration is not a prerequisite for competitor price tracking, alerts, analysis, reports or repricing calculations. A connection becomes useful when you want to eliminate manual product imports or automatically update selling prices in your storefront. You can choose that later, or never use it at all.
